The team at Lumiere Healing Centers have taken a dual focus to make their priority access to care of the highest quality. The first step taken was to contract with various new insurance providers. By building contracts with some of the largest insurance providers and behavioral health liaisons in the area, including Anthem, Medical Mutual, MultiPlan and Pomco, Lumiere has increased their reach to prospective clients and anyone struggling with their addiction to drugs and alcohol.

In 2017, the team added a major piece. Dr. Kaisha A. Thomas was named Lumiere’s Chief Clinical Officer. Dr. Thomas’s experience includes receiving Ph.D, LMFT, LMHC, LMFT-S, NCC, CCMHC, and SAP certifications during her time studying family health, behavioral health and many other areas of study that culminate to make her the best choice to head up Lumiere’s treatment facility.
This step shows that Lumiere Healing Centers is not only committed to providing access to care for individuals that are struggling with drug addiction, but is also aiming to produce the best solutions and provide care of the highest quality. The appointment of Dr. Thomas as the center’s CCO shows a commitment to providing residents with access to health care professionals with a diverse background as a way to improve outcomes of drug treatment and recovery programs.
